Church Administrator Hall Caretaker (Part-Time)
St James Fletchamstead is seeking a part-time Church Administrator Hall Caretaker to support the life, worship, and mission of our church and its community.
This is a varied and rewarding role, providing administrative support across church communications, PCC governance, safeguarding administration, services, occasional offices (baptisms, weddings, funerals), hall bookings, and church buildings. The Administrator is often the first point of contact for the church and plays a key role in enabling ministry to flourish.
Hours: 16 hours per week (worked over 4 days)
Salary: £10,800 per year
Contract: Fixed-term 12 months (with possibility of extension)
Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks pro-rata
Line Manager: Associate Minister, St James Fletchamstead
This role carries an Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be a practising Christian (Equality Act 2010).
